Waterjet cutting technology has made lots of advances in recent years, especially with the integration of CNC (computer numerical control). Waterjet cutting technology is simple to understand, essentially by putting water under extreme pressure, mixing it with an abrasive (normally garnet) and forcing it out a nozzle the size of approximately a pencil lead you are able to cut any shape out of any material with exact precision.
